PRODUCT ORIGIN AND QUALITY

Healthy and Agile gelatin supplements are generally sourced from either Australia or Germany. Procurement works with only the best suppliers which ensure the raw materials used are of the highest quality possible. While Digestivital and Equinevital are produced from pasture-fed or feed assisted Australian cattle hides, Jointvital is comprised of German Bovine collagen peptides, Femvital is comprised of German Porcine collagen peptides. Modern science helps deliver a designer range of collagen proteins for our optimal health and nutrition. The diet of the animal does not alter the quality of the collagen structure in any way. There is no benefit to be gained from using grass-fed only stock and it is impossible for companies to claim their products to be so. No unhealthy animals are used as there are strict veterinary checks in place with the product destined for human consumption.

The same products sold by Healthy and Agile are also bought from the manufacturer by large international corporations for use in medicine, cosmetics and the food industry. INFECTIOUS DISEASES

The Australian government can confirm that Australia continues to be free from Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopothies (TSEs) affecting animals, including Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and Scrapie. Our supplier in Germany also has a TSE/BSE statement stating that their strictly controlled raw material selection process and the high degree of reliability and safety of the production processes involved correspond to the stringent provisions and regulations currently in force and leads even beyond. Thus, according to thorough scientific knowledge, there is no health risk attached to our gelatine or collagen hydrolysates. The risk of transmission of BSE to humans by our products can be ruled out, an opinion equally accepted by scientists and regulatory authorities.
