A BIT ABOUT US

Suzanne and Iona met nearly 40 years ago when Iona was enlisted to teach Sue’s daughters to ride.  Both women have a strong background in farming and the horse industry – Sue being a cattle breeder, racehorse owner, and part-time rider, with a husband who was heavily involved in the EFA for Showjumping and the Australian Eventing scene as an FEI course designer, builder, coach, and selector;  Iona being the wife of an equine vet, rearing calves and sheep, and managing Ranfurly Park, a small warmblood stud, standing 2 stallions and competing.   Sue has also worked in the gelatin industry for many years and with the knowledge of what this product has to offer and a business plan in mind, Healthy and Agile was born when most sensible retirees would be heading for a cruise ship!

Suzanne and Iona are passionate about their products, knowing that they work and want to spread the word to help people improve the quality of their lives with Jointvital, Femvital, and Basevital (soon to be rebranded Digestivital) – to look good and feel great! As we know, collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in the body. This polypeptide is a mixture of amino acids that are present in all our connective tissue, our skin and our cartilage and bone. While we are born with an abundance of collagen the body’s production of it slows down in our mid to late 20’s. With life and environmental factors against us as well, production continues to decline, reducing by 1-2% each year.
